Platinum token is the secondary form of currency in RuneSaga. They are used among players and non-player characters alike to exchange for items and services. The reason Platinum token are used is to bypass the maximum Coin or GP stack of 2,147,000,000.

Players often refer to one thousand (1,000) Platinum as 1B or 1 billion GP. Each Platinum token is worth 1,000 Coins GP can be exchanged for Platinum token at any bank chest in RuneSaga and vice versa. There is no fee for this transaction and can be exchanged as many times as the player chooses.
