Firemaking

Firemaking is a skill used to light fires, among other things. It is the artisan companion skill of Woodcutting.

Firemaking allows players to light logs in order to be able to cook food anywhere, albeit with a higher burn chance than with a range.

Equipment

Firemaking requires a tinderbox to use on a log.

Tinderboxs can be found from the "Master Forester" shop at skilling zone.

The infernal axe can be used at 61 woodcutting and 85 firemaking and has a chance to burn logs when chopping trees which result in getting firmeaking experience

In the AFK Zone located at home you can afk firemake the "Fire" which gives around 150k xp/hr.
