The Essence of Melee is used to fill the Melee tank located in the manhole next to the Slayer Master Lazarus.
Which then has the ablity to store to Hellion slayer helmet within the tank. Players are able to wear any headgear while still benefiting from the passive +20% damage to slayer tasks, when using any melee weapon.
