Mining

Mining is a skill that allows players to obtain ores from rocks.

The higher a player's Mining level is the more likely they are to successfully extract ore. With ores, a player can then either smelt bars and make equipment using the Smithing skill or sell them for profit. Mining is one of the most popular skills in RuneScape as many players try to earn a profit from the skill.

Equipment

Various equipment may be used to interact with trees. Most trees require an axe to chop. All basic axes (Bronze through Rune) can be obtained from the "Master Forester" NPC in the skilling zone (Skilling Teleport portal at ::home).

In the AFK Zone located at home you can afk mine the "Ancient Stone" which gives around 150k xp/hr. Additionally, there are "Cyber Palm"s in the donator zone (::dz).
