These Black Ghosts are a part of the zone 3's last room out of 6, in order to kill these a player must have a invention level of 30, 100 kill count is needed in order to complete this room to move on to the boss.
Once completed you now have unlimited access to Pac-Man.
You will not need to re-do the killcount in this room once you have completed it. Although you can leave midway through and come back to it later.
The Ectoplasm from this npc are scrapable at Yes Man for invention experience and 3 x Arcane orbs.
