The Skilling Zone is home to 10 skills. These skills are; Mining, Smithing, Runecraft, Woodcutting, Fletching, Firemaking, Fishing, Cooking, Agility, and Crafting. Although these skills can be found here, it is important to know that most of your resources do come from different mobs, Whomping Woods, Crystal Chest, and Strongboxes. The main purpose of this zone, is to get you started, or train your skills faster than doing it in the AFK Zone.

Mining
Home to all ores, located immediately north of where you spawn in. This little area has all the ores you could ever want to start your Mining grind. The Master Smelter is also located here, he offers some ores, a Hammer and pickaxes in all shapes and sizes. North of this are is a bank, inside one of the barricades, but there is also a bank inside the essence cave (in the middle, between the gold and coal). So to those who don't mind clicking as much, and want to bank faster: Hop down into the essence cave, bank, jump back out, and continue mining.
Smithing
As you enter the Skilling Zone there is a furnace and some anvils', to the north, inside a small hut. The Master Smelter just outside the building, offers you a Hammer. So that you can start hammering those bars into more valuable items. If you're just starting out your smithing grind, this furnace will suffice, but as you might have more ores/bars in the future, we highly reccomend teleporting to ::redwoods, or by right-clicking the Skilling portal, and selecting the Redwoods option. As the bank, anvil and furnace is a lot closer, speeding up your xp/h, and saving run energy.
Runecraft
Amongst all the ores to the north of you as you spawn into the Skilling Zone, there is an entrace to the essence cave. This is home to all your runecrafting. With the ability to mine Pure essence in the middle, and two banks, Runecraft is very fast on RuneSaga. The optimal way to runecraft is get your Pure essence from monsters, Strongboxes and/or Crystal Chest. Then run between the bank and your highest available rune you can make. Do not forget about the rune pouches you can obtain through Achievements.
Woodcutting
Between the smithing hut and the pond to the east, you will find the Master Forester. He offers a many different axes, a Tinderbox and a Knife. The trees in this area goes from Normal trees all the way to Magic trees. Once you hit 90 Woodcutting you will have to teleport to ::redwoods or by right-clicking the Skilling portal, and selecting the Redwoods option. In order to access Redwood trees. You could pair woodcutting with Fletching or Firemaking, we do suggest to bank all your logs, as Fletching is more of a bank standing skill. And Firemaking can be done in a faster way, explained further down.
Fletching
Allthough Fletching can be done from any bank in the game. I've listed it here, since this is where you would buy a Knife from the Master Forester. Fletching does not yield arrow shafts, since you don't need amunition while playing RuneSaga. Fletching yields planks, which used in the creation of Strongboxes.
Firemaking
Same as Fletching, Firemaking can be done all over RuneSaga, with enough space, but you do need a Tinderbox from the Master Forester. But it does not actually require space(?). We mentioned above that there is a faster way to Firemake in the Woodcutting section, here is how it works: Teleport to the Prayer Zone, locate one of the four banks withing this zone, take out your Tinderbox and the logs you wish to firemake, stand on the east side of the bank, and start firemaking. The fire will immediately disappear, and you will be pushed back and forth on the same 2 tiles, with a bank right there!
Fishing
To the east, you will find a pond and a small building, Inside the building, you will find the Master Fisher, and a bank. For the right amount of coin, he will grant you all the supplies you could ever want for your Fishing adventure. In the pond you can see the icons of which fish is found where, and the spot never moves. Kick back, relax and wait for a nibble, once your inventory is full, either bank the fish you caught, or Cook them on the eternal fire right next to the pond.
Cooking
Near the Fishing pond to the east, there is an eternal fire roaring. You can come here anytime you would like to coock your raw food. And with the bank right there inside that building, it's an easy way to start of the Cooking grind. Alternatively you can light a fire yourself, near most banks in game, and cook food on your self-made campsite too.
Agility
Directly south of where you spawn in to the Skilling Zone, you will find the most amazing outdoors gym you wil ever see. Joga mats to start you off, and a agility course to warm you up, as you build courage to hit up the zipline. Most of the outdoors gym is self-explanatory, the zipline is what trips most players up. To get access to the zipline, you nee 75 Agility and speak to the Zipline Instrucotr. He is posted up, juss outside the agility course, on the South-West corner. Talk to him, and you are good to go.
Crafting
Located South-East of the Skilling Zone, is home to the Master Crafter. As he is only available to main accounts, ironmen will either have to use a lamp, get lucky on low tier Strongboxes or use 'The Cheese' method explained in Crafting. Of course main accounts can also utilize this method, if they don't want to spend coins on the gems that the Master Crafter has available for purchase. He also has a Chisel in store, irons will have to buy a Chisel from Adam.
