Getting There

To be granted access to Bowser Jr.'s lair, a player have to purchase a Warp scroll from the slayer shop for 2,500 slayer points. Once purchased the entrance can be found North of the Home Area, in front of RuneSaga's casino.

Mechanics

Bowser Jr. has 6,000 health and four phases, with each phase consisting of 1,500 Hitpoints. He uses all three forms of Combat. Compared to the similar fight with Galvek in OSRS, Bowser Jr. is not immune to the effects of the Ring of recoil or the Relic of recoil.

Ranged attack
Magic attack

He uses a special fireball dragonfire attack which is capable of killing the player in one hit if they do not move away from it, regardless of their protection. However, the player will receive half damage of the dragonfire attack if they are one tile away from the where the dragonfire lands.

Special fireball dragonfire attack

He can also launch pink dragonfire, which disables all prayers upon impact, and an orange dragonfire spirit, which behaves like regular dragonfire. The effects of super antifire potion do not work against the special one-hit attack. However, using a super antifire potion in combination with the Anti-dragon shield will nullify all damage from his orange and pink dragonfire attacks. Using the potion on its own will not reduce damage much, and using the shield on its own will reduce damage significantly.

Pink dragonfire special attack

On Phase II, Bowser Jr. shoots purple mushrooms which drain the player’s run energy. These mushrooms cannot be killed, so players need to brace themselves and manage the energy drain as they continue the battle.

On Phase III, Bowser Jr. launches 10 Torpedo Teds in a line with only one gap for the player to stand.

On Phase IV, Bowser Jr. occasionally launches Thwomps, which if they fall on the player, you will be stunned for a few seconds.

Phase I (Morton)

Bowser Jr. stands north of the arena, attacking players with Magic and Ranged attacks. He can occasionally launch bomb-ombs, which if touched (bombs cover a 3x3 radius), will deal an incredible amount of damage, and will very likely instantly kill the player. These fire bombs are always placed in the same position, and will explode after a set amount of time has passed or if the player moves within one tile of it. This phase is common to die in due to players trying to move to avoid his special dragonfire attack, resulting in the player running into a bomb and dying. In between the Magic and Ranged attacks, he will occasionally use a dragonfire attack, including both the regular and pink dragonfire.

Phase II (Iggy)

In phase II, Bowser Jr stands west of the arena, attacking players with Magic and Ranged attacks. He can occasionally launch purple mushrooms that drain the player's run energy by 40%. Bowser Jr still uses the one-hit fireball and dragonfire attacks in this phase.

Phase III (Ludwig)

In phase III, Bowser Jr stands west of the arena, attacking players with Magic and Ranged attacks. He can occasionally send out Torpedo Teds (acting much like the tsunami waves during the Galvek fight) along with the standard one-hit fireball. If hit by these torpedos, the player will take over 100 damage. Phase III has the potential to be Bowser Jr’s deadliest phase, as the player has very limited room for movement if Bowser Jr launches his tsunami and his fireball special while the tsunami is active, leaving almost no room for error.

Phase IV (Bowser Jr.)

In phase IV, Bowser Jr stands in the middle of the arena, attacking players with Magic, Ranged and melee attacks (if standing in melee distance). He can occasionally launch Thwomps (earth projectiles), which if they fall on the player, you will be stunned for a few seconds. This deals no actual damage to the player, but leaves them extremely vulnerable to the highly damaging dragonfire, which he almost always uses if he is successful in stunning the player. His earth attack can be avoided by simply moving one square. Moreover, walking back and forth on the North or South end allows the player to avoid his Thwomps.
