Thalos, Sentinel of Seasons is the T80 ranged boss. To gain access to Thalos you have to deposit a minimum of 100m into the chest located on the dock. You can at any point withdraw that cash, and only if you where to die do you lose 100m from said chest. You are free to teleport out at any given time and NO cash will be deduced from the chest. Use a mount to run there, or General's scroll to teleport, since you will be needing the run energy in the boss arena.
Notable drops: Sylvan helm, Sylvan body, Sylvan legs, Sylvan bow and Everbane emerald
Phases
Thalos has two normal attacks, his regular ranged attack, and an arrow coated in magic (glowing arrow). These arrows do hit through prayer, but with the correct prayer up, their max hit is a 3. Thalos has four phases, each phase have different mechanics. So we will go through them one by one, in detail.
It is recomemded that you turn off 'Auto Retaliate' as this might cause you to get yourself killed. Due to you running into waves or out into the avalanche.
Phase I
First phase of Thalos is not too difficult, there is only one mechanic in the first phase that might cause you some problems, but it won't kill your run, just make the encounter longer.

- Flowers: At random intervals Thalos will spawn flowers around the arena, you can AoE these flowers down, or just ignore them. Thalos' will then consume the remaining flowers and heal based on the amount of flowers still standing.
Phase II
Second phase is where the difficulty ramps up a bit.

- WAVES: Thalos will sapwn in waves from one of the cardinal directions, you must locate the opening in the wave, and psition yourself accordingly. The waves have a hitbox of 3 tiles, so there is no 'wave-skipping'. The wave deal 40 damage.
- LIGHTNING: Instead of arming his bow and firing an arrow, Thalos will raise his hand, and summon lightning. This beam will blind the player for 2 ticks (1.2sec). The blind is counteractable by protecting from magic, but you have to be fast.
Phase III
Third phase does offer a bit of breathing room if you choose to range him down. There are two methods of killing phase three; Walk (Melee) or Ranging. Switch to your range gear, and focus on alternating prayers.

- Tornado: There will be a tornado chasing you around the arena, only the south-west tile and the tile to the east of it, will hit you. It does decent damage and knocks you back.
- Traps: Thalos will throw down 2 bear traps at a time (these do not de-spawn), and if you were to step on them, they will lock you in place.
Phase IV
Fourth and final phase. This is normally your run killer, due to having the most mechanics and one of them being able to one-shot you. Switch back into your melee gear for this phase.
Combat Level | 1250 |

- Freeze: If a player is stood still for 12 ticks (7.2sec) you will be frozen in place, you would still be able to attack, but if the Avalanche were to happen, you have to spam click the ground and hopefully have time to get behind the rock.
- Healing: Thalos shield himself and spawn winter spirits, winter spirits will heal Thalos for 20 Hitpoints each if left alive. Switch to your range AoE and finish them of as fast as possible.
- Avalanche: The sceen starts shaking and a rock will drop from above. Quickly locate the rock and run behind it (south side). When the rock has landed an avalanche will occur. Several waves will spawn behind Thalos and one-shot the player if they are not standing behind the rock. The kill plane will trigger when the second wave hits the back wall, and on every wave until the end. Remember to move on the tiles behind the rock to not be frozen in place, as you want to get back to Thalos and start dps when it ends.
